Biography:
Nurse Practitioner Sheryl Jernigan began her career in healthcare as a Registered Nurse in 1988. She received her Baccalaureate degree in nursing from Troy State University and her Master Degree in nursing from Troy University. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Sheryl spent most of her thirty years in nursing working in various fields such as CCU, ER, Cardiology, and Case Management. Living in Newton Alabama for 50+ years, Dale Medical is part of home. She and her husband Ken have one child, A. J. They enjoy traveling, spending time camping, and supporting the Crimson Tide of the University Of Alabama and the Boy Scouts of America.
